Antonio Torralba and Three MIT Alumni Named 2025 ACM Fellows

Antonio Torralba, Delta Electronics Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT, has been selected as a fellow in the 2025 cohort of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) for his contributions to artificial intelligence, computer vision, and machine learning.

Alongside Torralba, MIT alumni Margo Seltzer, Ramesh Raskar, and Anant Agarwal have also received this honor, which recognizes substantial contributions to the computing community.

Agarwal, a professor at MIT and founder of edX, has contributed to computer architecture and online education technology, expanding access to education worldwide.

The formal induction ceremony for the 2025 ACM fellows will take place during the annual ACM awards banquet.
